Translating these twisting shapes into physical hardware required mixing digital toolsets with old-world metalwork. We sculpted the tentacles in 3D software first, adjusting every sucker pad and muscle line. Rapid FDM printing let us physically validate how the tentacles fit an actual hand. If a curve pinched during a hard pull, we reworked the CAD file. Once ergonomic testing passed, we generated a high-resolution resin print master to drive our lost-wax bronze casting pipeline.
